She

I was just born in this world of lies,
I hadn’t moved and so close were my eyes.
But your care and warmth kept me alive,
You came as my mother and always remained by my side.

I was haunted by creepy letters and darkness,
I was scared by those lovely benches and blackness,
You consoled me, loved me in the best way you can
You came as my teacher and offered your caring hands.

And there was a time, I was low and wasn’t fine,
I needed a friend; someone who could be mine.
You came then but as lovely sis this time,
It was magic, care, bliss and alike of dime.

I moved on further but got stuck in a problem this time,
My dreams got shattered so was my soul and my mind.
You came as caring friend this time,
Regained my confidence, in my life and in my regime.

And then the stage came for the success and the fame,
I was alone in the light and alone in the rain.
My wife holded me close; close was her heart and soul,
and my world went round and perfect were the goals.

I was matured soul alive, filled with regrets and hopes,
I was now a tired soul alive, filled with happiness and nopes.
You came again this time but as my daughter on my ship,
And u became the laughter in my eyes and smile of my lips.

I am still a young soul, inside an old clay,
living with regrets and surviving off the bay.
I just want to thank; I just want to say,
As woman indeed, they changed my way and made my days.

Lastly, I want to sign off with a fact to thee,
its raw, it’s simple and firm like a sea.
I don’t like to hype but it’s true.
The best thing that happened to me is you.

A poem for a city under fire!!!!!

On my 13th day of winter vacation,
Thought to write something that came in my notion.
My mind is hot and eyes are cold,
And continued to write about story repeatedly told.
Circuits are dead and corpses are alive,
And that’s the truth, I’m not telling you the lie.
Winter is on and summer has gone,
Showering in the sunlight, I’m sitting here alone.
Alone in the sun, I’m taking the bath,
And pondering on, what will happen aftermath?
Nothing is goanna happen because this city has become dead.
Decisions were not taken and rules not made,
City is in dark and there is a situation of black out.
Still there is silence and nobody is out,
Optimism has grabbed everybody’s soul.
And that’s why non-blinded person not seeing the loop hole.
Dissent lies in everybody’s heart,
And eventually someone has to take the start.
Call of the hour is to light up that dissent,
And come down to the street and have the protest.
I’ve see the journey of best getting worst,
And time has come to develop that thirst.
It is the same country having a golden history,
But what went wrong, still remains a mystery.
And now lies a possibility of dark future ahead,
It’s time to make amends before its too late…..

Best Teacher

  BEST TEACHER

We do meet down the streets sometimes,
But that sometime has been a very long time.

Your face may have got blurred in my mind,
But your principles and teaching are deep inside…
I may have left those lovely classes behind,
But those chalk writings, still intact and never kept aside.

Sometime in my mind and sometime in my friends,
I do find you when running down the lane…
Your expertise and erudition have always triumphed,
You always supported me when I was dumped.

Everyone is a diamond, you always said to believe,
It only needed polish and some proper cuts indeed…
You did try that thing on me,
And it worked like a magic and drove me across the sea.

This small piece of writing is a smallest tribute to you,
For all those love and care, every time you do…
Not from me, but all those lovely students that hail,
You are the best teacher along whom we would like to sail…

Thanks for the support and the love you gave
Your way of teaching and the way of behave,
I am always gonna remember whenever I reach,
You are always gonna be there till my last breathe.
